Degassing Requirements in Jet Inks

Gases dissolved in the ink transform into bubbles after repeated compression and decompression given by piezo elements or by heating.

As a result,

  1. The pressure from piezo elements is degraded by the bubbles and the ink cannot drop vertically.
  2. The bubbles block the injection nozzles and the ink cannot drop at all.
